ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ಆಚರಿಸಲ್ಪಡುವ ಗಣೇಶ ಚತುರ್ಥಿಯನ್ನು, ಉತ್ತರ ಕನ್ನಡ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯು ಸೆಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್ 19 ರ ಮಂಗಳವಾರದಂದು ಗಣೇಶ ಚತುರ್ಥಿ ರಜೆಯನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲು ಸಿದ್ಧವಾಗಿದೆ, ಇದು ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ರಜೆ ಪಟ್ಟಿಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ವಿಶಿಷ್ಟ ಆಚರಣೆಯ ದಿನದಿಂದ ಹೊರಗುಳಿಯುತ್ತದೆ. ಮುಹೂರ್ತ ಮತ್ತು ಪಂಚಾಗದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ದಿನಾಂಕ 18 ರ ಬದಲಿಗೆ 19 ನೇ ತಾರೀಖಿನಂದು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಗುವ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದ ಉತ್ತರಕನ್ನಡದ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ರಜೆಯನ್ನು ಸರಕಾರಿ ರಜೆ 18-09-2023 ರ ಬದಲಿಗೆ 19-09-2023ರಂದು ರಜೆ ಘೋಷಿಸಿದ ಆದೇಶ ನೀಡಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಅದರ ಕುರಿತಾದ ಆದೇಶವು ಜಾಲತಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಹರಿದಾಡುತ್ತಿದೆ.

ಮುಹೂರ್ತ (ಶುಭ ಮುಹೂರ್ತ) ಮತ್ತು ಪಂಚಾಂಗ (ಹಿಂದೂ ಪಂಚಾಂಗ)ವನ್ನು ಗಣನೆಗೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು, ಉತ್ತರ ಕನ್ನಡದಲ್ಲಿ ಗಣೇಶ ಚತುರ್ಥಿಯ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಅನುಕೂಲಕರವಾದ ದಿನವು ಸೆಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್ 19, 2023 ರಂದು ಮಂಗಳವಾರ ಬರುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ನಿರ್ಧರಿಸಲಾಗಿ. ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು, ಸರಕಾರ ಮರುಪರಿಶೀಲಿಸಿ ಈ ನಿರ್ದಿಷ್ಟ ದಿನದಂದು ರಜೆ ನೀಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಪತ್ರ ಬರೆದಿದ್ದರು.

ಮನವಿಗೆ ಸ್ಪಂದಿಸಿದ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ರಜೆಯ ದಿನವನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಧರಿಸುವ ಅಧಿಕಾರವನ್ನು ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ನೀಡಿದೆ. ಹೊಂದಾಣಿಕೆಯ ನಂತರ, ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು 16ನೇ ಸೆಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್ 2023 ರಂದು ಅಧಿಕೃತ ಘೋಷಣೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಇದರಿಂದ ನೌಕರರು ಮತ್ತು ಅವರ ಕುಟುಂಬ ವರ್ಗಕ್ಕೆ ಅನುಕೂಲವಾಗಲಿದೆ. ಸೋಮವಾರ ರಜೆ ಹಾಕಿದರೆ ಒಟ್ಟು ಮೂರು ದಿನ ರಜೆ ದೊರೆಯುತ್ತದೆ.
